A gift of a loving memory.

Since I woke up this morning to the news of Kayla’s departure from this earth, I’ve felt the overwhelming need to do something.  As I scrolled the dash in tears at all the love that was being poured in her honor, I knew what it was.

Lillian and I are collecting all the pieces written for Kayla, both today and from the past.  Once these pieces are assembled, we are going to find a way to get all of this love to her family, so they can know she had love, friendship and family here.

I’ve reblogged what I can and will continue to do so throughout the day.  If you’d like to submit something you’ve written now or in the past, you can do it here.  You can also submit links for your favorite poems written by Kayla, which will be included in the package to her family.

In addition, if you know how we can get in touch with Kayla’s family, please contact either myself of Lillian.

There were accusations that Tumblr was at the root of what happened, but we all know that, at the end of the day, the writing community is a place of love and family.  Please help us show Kayla’s family that love.

Thank you.
